"As children we fear the dark, the unknown troubles us. Anything might be out there. Ironically, it's our fate to live in the dark…Even after we're grown, the darkness retains it's power to frighten us. And so, there are those who say we should not inquire too closely into who else might be living in that darkness. Better not to know they say." - Carl Sagan

“The most powerful force ever known on this planet is human cooperation — a force for construction and destruction.” - Jonathan Haidt

Psychologist Jonathan Haidt asks a simple, but difficult question: why do we search for self-transcendence? Why do we attempt to lose ourselves? In a tour through the science of evolution by group selection, he proposes a provocative answer.

Jonathan Haidt studies how -- and why -- we evolved to be moral. By understanding more about our moral roots, his hope is that we can learn to be civil and open-minded.

Think about this point of moment in the life for what you have been looking for ! for the things you lived and cared about the most. Your purpose of the life is in you and what you do becomes your life and it only you who could change it in the way you like it. This is life and how do you want to spend it ?
“Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot.

Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.

The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.”
― Carl Sagan

Colors are the most amazing to feel and reflect. Few colors in life have a meaning which we recall them as memories, few colors make you feel good or bad. It all depends on your perception and how you learn colors. I learn the concept of colors through web designing and this video here makes all the sense of how the colors effect your life. Smell is the another sense which makes us feel about the smells. So find your color, see your reaction to the colors that's the way you can learn them and implement.

Colors in life

Talent is never in the looks...

Thats one of the good inspiring videos, at first I felt like i'm sorry for what god has done for him to be what he is, but thats a very courageous one to be what he is after understanding the things which are beyond at that stage. But he kept on moving to be what he wants to be.

This video can be a inspiring one for all and specially for those who wants to be a pilot.
